Enjoy a day to yourself, away from the usual hustle bustle of everyday life and focus solely on your health and wellbeing needs: experiencing delicious, healthy meals, multiple workouts (planned carefully to cater specifically to your individual needs and fitness level), lengthen and stretch well used muscles in yoga, relax completely during Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) as well as free time to rest, restore, rejuvenate yourself.

 

Locations are all carefully chosen and are perfect for a Retreat Away for a Day; close to Central Auckland yet in such stunning locations that you feel like you are completely removed from your everyday lives!

A sample outline of the Retreat for the Day is as follows although changes depending on the location;

 

A Saturday OR Sunday option:

9.00am

10 rounds of ‘Salute to the Sun’  with Jo to kick start our day!

(‘Salute to the Sun’ or ‘Surya Namaskara’ is a set sequence of gentle flowing movements that are synchronized with the breath.)

9.30am BOX FIT and OUTDOOR FIT combined session:

A timed paired or team challenge to start, followed by a 45 minute boxing session and additional ‘finisher’ at the end.

As always; training sessions are structured, varied and cater to different fitness levels, providing a whole body workout as well as incorporating various aspects of fitness such as; Cardiovascular Fitness, Muscular Endurance and Strength, Stamina, Co-ordination and Power.

FREE TIME

1.30pm Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Jo:

A faster-paced ‘flowing’ style of yoga where movement is synchronized with the breath. Designed to stretch, strengthen and tone every major muscle group in the body. This will be followed by a final Yoga Nidra to send you home on a cloud of bliss and serenity!

3.00pm

3.30 pm Afternoon tea, farewell and journey back home at your leisure.
